Colour Specification

A good visual colour match to an agreed standard. When instrumental colour results are quoted, they must be to CIELAB equation, illuminant D65, 10° angle.

Results to be quoted as Delta L (darker/lighter), Delta a (redder/greener), Delta b (yellow/bluer) and Delta e the overall Colour Difference.

Colour Stability

This product is formulated to exhibit minimum colour change due to shear and to show no metamerism.

  • The on screen colour due to variation in monitor display is provided to indicate the colours given as a representation of finish it may not provide the decision maker with the exact colour or effect.
  • If critical to the project hand samples can be made available to ensure a more exact colour match or product likeness.
  • It should be noted that during the production process of any coil coated product some colour or texture variation may occur between coils produced at different times or batches.
  • If colour tone or directionality is critical then cladding from the same batch should be used on the same side of building or elevation.
